Positions may be part-time or full-time, live-in or hourly (live-out) throughout Central Florida. All positions require a criminal background check, driving record check, personal and professional references, health screening, and proof of work eligibility.

Homemaker

Homemakers provide support services for clients who require assistance maintaining their homes. Typical tasks include doing laundry, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, changing bed linens, cleaning up after pets (if approved), preparing meals, grocery shopping, reminding client to take medication, and driving the client to appointments (using the client's vehicle).

Companion

Companions are responsible for the same support as homemakers, with an additional emphasis on providing companionship to the client. Additional companionship tasks might include going for walks, playing games, reading, participating in recreational activities, providing standby assistance while the client bathes or dresses, and any number of other tasks that improve the client's social life.

Personal Caregiver (HHA or CNA)

Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are licensed by the state or certified to provide personal care. So in addition to the light housekeeping and companionship tasks of homemakers and companions, personal caregivers assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, eating, physical transfer, self-administered medications, and those other normal daily routines the client could perform if physically able.
